ABC Skootamota

On Display

With the engineering industry looking for products to replace military contracts soon after World War I, some factories turned to the personal transport market, including scooters. The Skootamota was one of the results. Its standard engine had an exhaust over inlet valve layout, but on this rare example, both valves are overhead. Granville Bradshaw designed the complete machine to the order of the Gilbert Camping Company, London, but it was made by ABC.
