MGC GT

On Display

When BMC/British Leyland decided in 1967 to phase out the Austin Healey 3000, a replacement was hurriedly sought to satisfy the American market. The result was the MGC. Looking almost identical to the four-cylinder MGB, the C sported a bonnet bulge that hid the six-cylinder Morris engine. With more weight at the front, the B's nimble handling had gone in place of a car well suited to fast motorway cruising. Production reached 4,457 before ceasing in 1969.

This example was first owned by a director of an MG dealership who used it until his death in 1998. It is in extremely original condition and has covered just over 20,000 miles from new.
