Known as Old Miracle, this famous motorcycle had an exceptionally long and honourable racing life. It established no fewer than 112 solo and sidecar national and international records between 1912 and 1920, when used as a mobile test bed by Dan O’Donovan. Production models tuned by O'Donovan appeared in 1912 – the BS (Brooklands Special) and BRS (Brooklands Road Special), according to specification. They were sold with guarantees to lap the Brooklands track at Weybridge in Surrey at 70mph/112.65kph and 65mph/104.61kph respectively.
