J.A. Peters was an aircraft designer who turned his attention to motorcycles. His unconventional design had no frame as such; the fuel/oil tank formed the main cross member and accommodated the steering head, whilst the engine was bolted to its underside. It used a 4-stroke Blackburne engine and featured a novel lubricating system, with oil fed under pressure from the exhaust gases. There was a rear-swinging arm, pivoted just behind the engine, with an enclosed coil spring under the saddle.
