One of five machines built for the 1912 Coupe de l'Auto Race for 3 litre cars at Dieppe, this model was developed from the touring 12/16.
Sunbeams scored a 1-2-3 victory in the event. Victor Rigal, who finished first, averaged 65.3mph/105.09kph. The car is still regularly raced in suitable Vintage Sports Car Club events, and is still capable of giving a good account of itself.
