The Triumph TR2 was designed very quickly in the early 1950s to try and rival the MG TD and the Jaguar XK120. It used a modified Standard Vanguard engine. It had tremendous success especially in export markets.
The Triumph TR series continued until the TR8 was axed in 1981.
This one owner car has covered a very low mileage and was laid up when the crankshaft broke. After 30 years of storage in Devon, it has been completely restored.
