This machine was a relatively early example of the advanced, highly efficient two-strokes produced by Japanese manufacturers. The air-cooled, twin-cylinder engine had valve-controlled porting, forced lubrication and a power output of 22hp @ 7,500rpm. Other advanced features (for a small-capacity machine in the early 1970s) were a five-speed gearbox and electric starter. The model was highly regarded in its time, although later models became even more efficient and elaborate in design and fittings.
