The Morris 1000 was the ultimate development of the legendary Morris Minor. The light van version was very popular for deliveries and the Post Office had large fleets of them.
This one comes from the Epsom district and was used both there and at Ewell. It covered 106,569 miles. It was restored by apprentices at the Kidbrooke Central Repair Depot of the Post Office.
