In 1958 Norton marked its Diamond Jubilee by introducing a new small bike, the appropriately named 250cc twin cylinder Jubilee. It was the first 250cc Norton to reach production and the only British made 250cc twin on the market. The engine was developed by Norton engineers but much of the frame was sourced from other parts of the Associated Motor Cycles (AMC) group of companies. This is the Jubilee Standard, a re-styled model first introduced in late 1960.
