We are currently embarking upon a comprehensive redevelopment of the National Motor Museum which means at certain times the vehicles on display may be changing on a daily basis. If there is a particular vehicle that you wish to view please contact us on 01590 614541 in advance of your visit to check that it is on display. You can also sponsor any vehicle in the Museum owned by the National Motor Museum Trust.
Showing 1 to 50 of 300 records.
For almost as long as there have been motor vehicles on the road, publicity-conscious firms have built special bodywork to advertise their products. The first bottle appeared on the roads in 1906. Other such vehicles were transformed into tubes of toothpaste, wireless sets, batteries, bottles of ink, teapots, barrels of beer and so on. It is believed that only four or five of these TL30 Worthington bottle lorries are still in existence.
