The Model T Ford is one of the most famous models in motoring history. Its exceptionally low price brought it within the range of millions of people throughout the world. This bargain price was attained by mass production on a moving assembly line, a new concept in car manufacture. In all, sixteen million Model Ts were built, available from 1914 in any colour 'as long as it was black'.
