The National Motor Museum and Collections Centre are situated at Beaulieu in Hampshire. The location is within the New Forest, between Bournemouth and Southampton. SAT NAV postcode is SO42 7ZN, however please follow brown signage when in the vicinity.
In addition to visiting the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, you can also visit Palace House (home of the Montagu family), the historic Beaulieu Abbey, the beautiful gardens, James Bond Experience, Secret Army Exhibition and the new World of Top Gear Exhibition.
We welcome individuals and groups who want to research items from the Collections. However, it is necessary to book an appointment in advance.
Yes we provide a Motoring Research Service for professional and amateur researchers. We can assist with simple enquiries by post and email, but we do not run a telephone enquiry service. For more complex research we recommend that you make an appointment to visit our Reading Room.
The National Motor Museum Trust welcomes partnerships with individuals and organisations. Perhaps you would like to become a volunteer or contribute to the Collections.
Dogs are welcomed at the Beaulieu complex and are permitted within the grounds, but for the benefit of other visitors we do require that they be kept on a lead and under control at all times. Owners are also asked to ensure that no mess is left within the grounds where it will be offensive to others. We provide scoops for disposal of mess, free of charge –available from Visitor Reception.
With the exception of Guide Dogs, we regret that we do not allow dogs inside the National Motor Museum, Collections Centre, Palace House, Abbey, Brabazon Restaurant, or on any of the rides. Please note that there is a special area available beneath the Motor Museum entrance where your dog may be left whilst you visit the Museum.
The pathways in the Beaulieu complex that join all the sights within the Beaulieu attraction are suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, however, some of the garden and riverside paths are constructed of hoggin and/or gravel.
We offer free use of powered wheelchairs and manual wheelchairs. It is advisable to book these in advance by calling 01590 614646.
We have ample free parking with a designated disabled parking area situated close to the main visitor entrance. No overnight parking is allowed.

A baby changing room is provided within the Brabazon Restaurant, which is centrally located in the attraction.
Any individual who pays for him/her self and his family to have entry to the Museum for a year and also pays UK Income and/or Capital Gains Tax.
Yes you can. If you make a donation equivalent to our entrance price you (and your family group) will still be given admission to the National Motor Museum for a year (conditions apply).
