This is a typical fast touring car of the early 20th century, with engine at the front, gearbox amidships and chain-driven rear wheels, as well as braking on the rear wheels only, though the shape of the hood acts as an air brake! Originally the property of gold mining pioneer, Sir Joseph Robinson, this car was stored in a London furniture depository from 1910 until exhumed in 1956.
