Creative Fun at the National Motor Museum

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from August 1st - 24th, 11am - 3pm

This August, visitors to the National Motor Museum can take part in Creative Fun activities. Inspired by a two-year project, Keep CALM and STEAM Ahead, families can enjoy a range of activities exploring magical mechanisms on the theme of Automotive Steampunk.

Tuesdays: Design your own Steampunk caravan and build a 3D tunnel book of a famous Victorian caravan The Wanderer.

Wednesdays: Create a Steampunk-style poster inspired by the Shell Heritage Art Collection or create a flip book of a car to find out how vehicles are constructed.

Thursdays: Build a Steampunk inspired LEGO vehicle.

The activities are supported by the Arts Council England Designation Development Fund and sponsored by Shell Heritage Art Collection and the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

No booking is required for the sessions, just drop in and join in! Participants can enter their fabulous creations into the Creative Fun Competition to win great prizes from Shell Heritage Art Collection, National Motor Museum and Freedom to Go.

Activities are included in the standard admission ticket to Beaulieu. Caravan and Motorhome Club members can enjoy one third off the full admission price for up to four people (see the Club’s Great Savings Guide for further information and terms and conditions).
