Finding Us

The National Motor Museum and Collections Centre are situated at Beaulieu in Hampshire. The location is within the New Forest, between Bournemouth and Southampton.

Directions by Road:

M27 exit junction 2, follow the brown and white tourist signs towards Beaulieu.

Sat nav postcode is SO42 7ZN, however please follow brown signage when in vicinity.


By Bus: 

From 25th June through to 18th September, you can take the open top New Forest Tour Bus to Beaulieu. Operating hourly throughout the New Forest, the tour bus allows you to hop on and off at various points throughout the New Forest including Beaulieu where New Forest Tour Bus customers can benefit from discounted entry to the Beaulieu attraction (see onboard guide books for further details). New for 2011 is a second route allowing visitors to explore the whole of the New Forest and with one, two and five day tickets available and interchangeable across the two routes.

Wilts & Dorset buses have a route between Hythe and Lymington which drops visitors in the Beaulieu grounds.

Please note: This bus does not run on Sundays.

By Rail: 

The nearest main line station is Brockenhurst. There is a taxi rank at the station, the cost of a journey to Beaulieu by taxi costs approx £20.

By Ferry: 

Take the ferry across Southampton Water to Hythe, then the 5 mile bus ride to Beaulieu.
