The Friends support the work of the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu in its considerable task of preserving Britain’s diverse motoring heritage. Support is interpreted in its widest sense with the most important contribution being through membership subscriptions.
Andy Green Friends Evening Feb 2008
A wide range of special Friends Evenings are held at Beaulieu during the Autumn and Winter for which there is a small charge. These focus on a variety of transport related subjects. Past speakers and events have included leading motoring personalities and opportunities to see behind the scenes at the Museum. Details of these evenings can be found here and in the Newsletter. Tickets, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis, can be purchased by completing the booking form contained within the Newsletter.
The Friends evenings usually take place on a Saturday and normally the National Motor Museum is open from 6.00pm for a private viewing. All talks and film shows take place at 7.30pm in the Lecture Theatre of the Collections Centre, concluding around 10.00pm. A pay bar is available for the purchase of beers, wines, soft drinks and tea and coffee. We regret we are unable to provide food.
