Rowland Hilder
Rowland Hilder (1905–1993) was a marine and landscape painter and book illustrator. Hilder studied at Goldsmiths’ College in London, where he met botanical artist Edith Blenkiron. The pair both went on to produce joint commissions for a series of Shell calendars in the 1950s.
