The Motoring Research Service welcomes visitors by appointment. In order that the space does not become crowded, we will be limiting the number of visitors that can access the Reading Room each day. Please book your visit in advance using the contact details on this page.

Please read our Covid-19: Reading Room guidance for visitors for further information.

The Research Service can also be accessed by email using our online enquiry form.

The Motoring Research Service responds to factual enquiries received by the National Motor Museum Trust and assists researchers to access information that may be found within its collections.

We provide access to the Trust reading room for those wishing to undertake their own research using material from the Motoring Archive and our world famous Motoring Reference Library. Visitors to the reading room are required to show proof of identity.
