The Drive For Change

Explore the role of motoring in the women’s suffrage movement and the inspirational stories of those involved. This exhibition complements the Museum’s The Drive for Change project marking the centenary of the Representation of the People Act, which gave the first British women the right to vote.

The exhibition was curated by History undergraduates from the University of Southampton, in partnership with the National Motor Museum Trust, the Caravan and Motorhome Club Collection and the Shell Heritage Art Collection.
