Can I use my National Art Pass to visit the Museum?

Yes, National Art Pass holders can obtain free entry to the National Motor Museum element of the Beaulieu attraction. Entry with the National Art Pass does not include access to Beaulieu events nor the wider attraction, including Palace House and its gardens, Beaulieu Abbey, Little Beaulieu adventure play area or rides on the Monorail or Veteran Bus. An upgrade ticket is available for each visit should you wish to access the wider attraction or any Beaulieu events. The upgrade ticket is priced at 50% of the on the day adult and child tickets.

The National Motor Museum is an independent charity but physically is part of the Beaulieu Attraction, one of the South of England’s top visitor destinations. The National Motor Museum and Beaulieu Attraction is open every day of the year except Christmas Day.

At Beaulieu, one inclusive ticket provides access to The National Motor Museum, Palace House & Gardens, Little Beaulieu, Beaulieu Abbey, The Secret Army Exhibition and unlimited rides on the monorail.

For no additional cost, if you're a UK tax payer you can Gift Aid your purchase to receive an annual pass to the National Motor Museum.

The National Motor Museum was originally founded by Edward, Lord Montague as a tribute to his father who was a motoring pioneer. The museum collection grew, and in 1972 the National Motor Museum was built in the grounds of Lord Montague's Place House estate and the National Motor Museum Trust was formed to care for and display the collection.

We will occasionally have 'behind the scenes' tours of the Collections - public events will be promoted on our events page, whilst groups can book a tour for a fee. 

Access our offices via the John Montagu Building adjacent to the Visitor Reception building at Beaulieu. 

Access to the museum workshop is limited, and it is not normally open to the public. Occasionally pre-booked behind the scenes tours include a visit to the workshop. Professional visits can be arranged by contacting the museum manager, email nmmt@beaulieu.co.uk
