Bugatti Type 35

Our Bugatti cars have gone on tour

14 May 2024

Two of our prized Bugatti cars have journeyed up the Cotswolds and have found a temporary home at The Bugatti Trust Museum and Study Centre, Prescott Hill.

Bugatti Type 15

Celebrating a centenary of the birth of the Grand Prix Bugatti, our Type 35 and Type 15 have gone on display at the centre, the only one in the world dedicated to the Bugatti mark.  Prescott is also the home of the Bugatti Owners’ Club and location of the Speed Hill Climb.

Due to open on 25th May an exhibition at the centre will focus on the Bugatti Type 35 as first presented by Ettore Bugatti to the international motoring community in August 1924 for the Grands Prix de l’Automobile Club de France weekend held in Lyon, France.

The star of the exhibition will be our Type 35 Bugatti from the Grand Prix d’Europe race held on August 3rd one hundred years ago.

The very special Bugatti was raced by Ernest Friderich. It will be on display to the public at the Trust until October 2024 with additional exhibits and curated educational material to document this extraordinary moment in motoring history.
