TV presenter Richard Hammond and a film crew visited Beaulieu and the National Motor Museum this week, and he helped the Museum's Senior Engineer, Ian Stanfield and the workshop team replace the bodywork of the Sunbeam 1000hp World Land Speed Record car following the restoration of the engines.
The race is on to complete the restoration of the Sunbeam 1000hp before the World Land Speed Record breaker Sunbeam is packed into a crate and shipped to America for its appearance at the Pebble Beach Concours this August.
