The Hub

National Motor Museum Trust
The National Motor Museum Trust has created a flexible and responsive space within the National Motor Museum to enable further access to its collections and provide an area to host a range of interactions with visitors. An audio-visual display features images and films from the collections, alongside cases that can host temporary displays and exhibitions.
The Hub was generously funded by the Caroline Weston Memorial Fund and enables visitors to explore the work of the Trust and how people can get involved and support its work.

3D printed car
Currently, the Hub is hosting Europe’s first 3D printed electric vehicle. The 'Micro 4-Wheeler'vehicle concept could be easily adapted to suit any number of uses from commuting to light deliveries. The chassis of this prototype is 3D printed nylon, 30% of which is recycled. The 160 kg vehicle is powered by a 15kw electric motor.
