Motopia? Past Future Visions
Guest volunteer blogs.
We asked Seth Burgess, a third year university student currently studying history at Bournemouth, to write a few blogs on themes related to the Motopia? Past Future Visions exhibition.
The blogs are Seth’s views and don’t necessarily represent the views and opinions of the National Motor Museum.

I am currently a 3rd year university student currently studying history at Bournemouth. For the last few months, I have been volunteering at Beaulieu, helping with various collections and getting an understanding of how a museum works.
I have been a fan of cars and motorsport for some time now and as I have got older, I have learnt to appreciate classic cars far more for their historical significance. I am very grateful for this opportunity and appreciative of the hospitality I have received whilst being at the museum.

I have been asked to write several blog posts to help introduce the National Motor Museum’s past headline exhibition, Motopia? Past Future Visions exhibition.
