Terms and Conditions

1. Vehicle Requirements and Conduct

By booking this event with The National Motor Museum Trust, you confirm that your vehicle is fit for purpose, mechanically sound, and safe to use. You agree to comply with all event rules and regulations, including any applicable noise restrictions. Failure to adhere to these requirements may result in removal from the event without refund.

a) Tall or heavy vehicles, including 4x4s, are not permitted.

b) Single-seater and open-wheeled vehicles are not permitted.

c) Electric vehicles are not permitted.

2. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation. A place on the track day is not secured until payment has been received. The event price is £330, inclusive of VAT.

3. Right to Refuse or Cancel Bookings

The National Motor Museum Trust reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion.

4. Cancellations and Transfers

a) Cancellations made more than 10 days prior to the event may be eligible for a refund, subject to a £20 administration fee. Requests must be made in writing. If the event is sold out, the booking must be resold before a refund can be issued.

b) No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 10 days of the event.

c) Bookings may be transferred to another participant at any time, provided the request is made in writing by the original booking holder.

d) All refunds for client cancellations are at the sole discretion of The National Motor Museum Trust.

5. Event Changes and Cancellations

The National Motor Museum Trust reserves the right to amend or cancel events without prior notice due to circumstances beyond its control, including adverse weather, unforeseen incidents, or operational issues.

If an event is cancelled before it begins, a full refund will be issued. However, The National Motor Museum Trust will not be liable for any additional costs or expenses incurred.

If a participant cancels their booking before an official event cancellation is announced, standard cancellation terms will apply. No retrospective refunds or credits will be issued.

6. Noise Regulations

All vehicles must comply with the noise limits set by the venue. Noise monitoring is managed by the circuit, and all decisions are final. Vehicles exceeding noise limits may be excluded from the event without refund.

Some venues may carry out static or drive-by noise testing and reserve the right to remove vehicles exceeding permitted levels at any time. (javelintrackdays.co.uk)

7. Venue Rules and External Guidance

Participants must comply with all rules, regulations, and operational procedures set by the venue and event partners.

8. Event Suitability

The National Motor Museum Trust cannot be held responsible if an event is deemed unsuitable or unavailable for a participant’s specific vehicle or requirements.

9. Risk and Liability

Motorsport activities are inherently dangerous and carry a risk of serious injury or death. All participants and passengers must sign a Risk Awareness Form prior to entering the pit lane.

By participating, you accept full responsibility for any personal injury or damage to your vehicle, howsoever caused.

10. Insurance

Standard road car insurance policies often do not cover track day use. It is the participant’s responsibility to arrange appropriate track day insurance if required. (javelintrackdays.co.uk)

11. Photography and Media

Events may be photographed and filmed. By attending, you consent to the use of images or footage featuring you or your vehicle for promotional purposes, including websites, social media, and printed materials.

If you do not wish to be featured, you must notify The National Motor Museum Trust in writing prior to the event. Please note that you may still appear incidentally in background footage.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
