Terms and Conditions National Motor Museum Trust pre-1940s Car Rally & Supercar Run 2026

 All participants must agree to the following terms and conditions:

1.0 Definitions

1.1 In these Terms and Conditions the following definitions shall have the following meanings:

·         ‘’the Event’’ The pre-1940s Car Rally or Supercar Run, the event being applied for as specified on the registration form.

·         ‘’the Organisers’’ The National Motor Museum, registered charity 1107656.

·         ‘’the Participant(s)’’ The people named on the registration form as attendees of the event.

2.0 General

2.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all participants of either Event. By registering, Participants agree to comply with all rules and instructions provided by the Organisers before and during the Event.

3.0 Eligibility

3.1. All drivers must hold a valid, full UK (or international equivalent) driving licence.

3.2. All vehicles must be taxed, insured, and have a valid MOT (if applicable). It is the responsibility of Participants to ensure that the vehicle is in a road-worthy condition. All vehicles must meet the legal requirements to run on public roads in the UK.

3.3. Drivers must be aged 21 or over and passengers must be aged 18 or over at the start of the Event.

4.0 Qualifying Vehicles

4.1. Cars participating in the pre-1940s Car Rally must have been manufactured before 1 January 1940.

4.2. Cars eligible to participate in the Supercar Run are listed as follows:

·         Alfa Romeo: 8C

·         AC/Shelby: Cobra

·         Apollo: Any model

·         Ariel: Atom, Nomad

·         Aston Martin: Any model

·         Audi: R8

·         BAC: Mono

·         Bentley: Bacalar, Continental GT

·         BMW: i8, Z8

·         Bugatti: Any model

·         Chevrolet: Corvette

·         Delorean

·         De Tomaso: Pantera, P72, Mangusta

·         Dodge: Viper

·         Ferrari: Any model

·         Ford: GT, GT40,

·         Ginetta: G10, G33, G60, Akula

·         Hennessy: Any model

·         Honda: NSX

·         Jaguar: Project 7, Project 8, XJ220, XJR-15, F-Type SVR

·         Koenigsegg: Any model

·         Lamborghini: Any model

·         Lexus: LFA

·         Lotus: Exige (series 1), 3-11, Emira, Evija

·         Maserati: MC20, MC12, Granturismo MC Stradale

·         McLaren: Any model

·         Mercedes: SLS, SLR, AMG Black Series, AMG GT R

5.0 Entry and Fees

5.1. Event fees cover two people plus one car for the duration of the Event. Accommodation is provided based on two people sharing a double or twin room. A single supplement will be applied where relevant.

5.2. Entry fees cover event participation, route materials, rally merchandise, and select hospitality.

5.3. A £500 deposit plus VAT is required to secure a place on each event. Participants wishing to take part in both the pre-1940s Car Rally and Supercar run are required to pay a deposit for each event. The remaining balance must be paid by 1 February 2026.  Entry is only confirmed once the full balance is received by the due date.

5.4. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

6.0 Insurance and Liability

6.1. The Event is not a race, time trial, or speed competition. All driving must be conducted in accordance with UK traffic laws.

6.2. Participants acknowledge that they take part at their own risk. The Organisers accept no liability for any accident, loss, injury, or damage to persons or property during the event

7.0 Conduct and Safety

7.1 Participants must obey all traffic regulations and local laws. Dangerous, reckless, or illegal driving will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the event without refund.

7.2. The Organisers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour endangers others or brings the event into disrepute.

7.3. The Organisers reserve the right to change the route, scheduled stops, and accommodation as necessary for operational reasons or safety concerns.

7.4. The Organisers are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants and staff. Harassment of any kind, or abuse directed toward staff, will not be tolerated.

8.0 Route and Schedule

8.1. A detailed route pack will be provided before the event. Deviations are allowed but are undertaken at participants’ own risk.

8.2. The Event is designed for leisure and scenic enjoyment; timing is flexible, and checkpoints are informal.

8.3. The Organisers are not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.

10.0 Photography and Media

10.1. By attending, Participants consent to being photographed and filmed.

10.2. The Organisers may use images and footage for promotional purposes.

10.3. Participants may share their own media but must not use the Event's name for commercial purposes without permission from the Organisers.

11.0 Cancellation and Refunds

11.1. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Event. In the event of cancellation, the Organisers reserve the right to retain a proportion of fees paid to cover costs incurred.

11.2. Participants who cancel their registration are not entitled to a refund. However, if a participant is unable to attend, they may nominate an alternate participant by 24 April 2026. A full refund will be issued once the alternate participant has completed their registration and made full payment. Refunds will be paid within 60 days of the refund being agreed.

11.3 Participants who are unable to attend any included dinners or choose not to stay in the accommodation provided will not be entitled to any reimbursement.

11.4. Participants who miss any element of the Event, or who are removed from the Event, are not eligible for a refund or partial refund.

12.0 Amendments

12.1. The organisers reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes.

13.0 Governing Law

13.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England.
