Terms and conditions of membership

Here are our terms and conditions - a bit of small print that will help you and us get the most out of your membership.

  • The National Motor Museum reserves the right to refuse membership if felt necessary.  All visits are subject to Beaulieu’s terms and conditions for visitors. 
  • We are committed to everyone’s safety on-site.  All visitors, staff and volunteers are subject to our safeguarding policy
  • All principal pass-holders are required to provide a current ‘passport-style’ photograph.  When your pass is scanned your photo will appear on our database to help us identify you.  You may be asked for additional photo ID at the complete discretion of our Visitor Reception staff.
  • Friends’ admission to the Beaulieu Attraction is available only through Visitor Reception and during normal opening hours.. Entrance must take place immediately after arrival by Friends and their guests (no staggered arrivals).
  • When there is an additional charge within the complex or event parkland for any attraction, event or service, these charges will also apply to members.

Membership Passes

  • Membership and membership passes are non-transferable and are to be used by the named passholder(s) only.
  • You must always produce your membership pass to enjoy any of the Friends’ benefits.  Your pass will be scanned on every visit.  You may be asked to show an additional photo ID upon entry.
  • Your pass will not need to be replaced (unless it is lost or damaged) when your membership expires as it will be automatically extended when you renew.  Please make a note of your expiry date as it does not feature on your pass.
  • In the event your membership pass is lost or stolen, a replacement pass can be requested for free if you are able to collect from the Visitor Reception desk at Beaulieu. We will charge a £5 replacement pass fee and £2 postage and packing fee for each replacement pass sent in the post.
  • At least one principal named pass-holder must be present on ALL visits with children and guests, including on event days.
  • Joint membership pass holders must live at the same address.  All membership correspondence will go to one address only.
  • Family membership includes entry for 2 adults and up to 3 children (aged 4-16), from your immediate family (i.e. your children or grandchildren only).  The names of all children covered in the family membership will feature on the pass.
  • A carer/personal assistant can enter free of charge if a member requires assistance. Proof of disability may be requested.  For more detailed advice please visit the Beaulieu Accessibility page.
  • Life membership includes entry for the named pass-holder only or as stipulated on your Life member pass.

Exclusions

  • Membership does not cover any of the facilities at Bucklers Hard.
  • Membership does not include discount in the Brabazon restaurant or other food and drink outlets on the Beaulieu site.
  • Your membership pass cannot be used in conjunction with any other pass or offer, including Blue Peter badge holders.
  • Pro-rata refunds will not be issued part-way through membership.
  • Family and joint memberships can only be changed upon renewal.  Children aged 4 and under enjoy free entry.

Events Terms and Conditions

Friends are welcome to attend all the events at Beaulieu, however some will  incur a separate admission charge for members such as non-motoring event days including BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair and hosted events of external organisations and rallies. See our event terms and conditions.

The National Motor Museum Trust reserves the right to amend benefits, terms and conditions and membership prices without notice.
