Hear the engines roar again!
Thank you for helping us recommission the Sunbeam 1000hp ‘’Mystery ‘Slug’ legendary World Land Speed Record breaking vehicle. With your donations we have been able to return the iconic car to working order and celebrate by returning to Daytona Beach for the 100 year anniversary of Sir Henry Segrave’s Land Speed Record on March 29th 2027.
The fundraising restoration campaign launched by the National Motor Museum Trust to raise funds for the restoration has reached its goal, but you can still support the Museum to raise funds to enable the Museum to undertake further restoration projects, and deliver high-quality learning, educational and community initiatives.
Your donations to the Sunbeam 1000hp Restoration Campaign have ensured we hear the engines roar again and see the car displayed in the USA and in Great Britain!
International supporters are able to donate to the National Motor Museum via the Pay Pal Giving Fund
