The Atalanta was Imperial Airways newest airliner in 1932 when Barnett Freedman (1901–1958) painted this poster. He was an expert lithographer and the painting was done with a full knowledge of the lithographers’ requirements. Barnett Freedman produced over 30 artworks for Shell from 1932–1955.
