Denis Constanduros (1910–1978) produced six artworks for Shell in the 1930s. Llanthony Priory is situated far up the narrow Honddu valley in the Black Mountains. Once an Augustian Priory, a house was built in part of the ruins in the late eighteenth century. The house was formerly owned by the poet, Walter Savage Landor, and survives today as a hotel.
